One Office. One Real Business. A Whole City of Happy Customers.

If you own a home service company, you’ve probably seen the pitch: Want to dominate Google Maps? Open more “offices.” Create more Google Business Profiles. Get an address in every part of town.

Some marketing companies are remarkably direct about it. They advertise strategies built around leasing additional office space, verifying those locations and creating multiple Google Business Profiles so a service company can appear to have a local presence across an entire metro area.

At K&M Steam Cleaning, that isn’t how we do business.

We have one office.

It’s our actual office.

And we clean homes and businesses all over the Austin area.

We’d Rather Be Good at Cleaning Than Good at Gaming Google

There’s a fundamental difference between expanding because a business actually needs another operating location and acquiring addresses primarily because someone figured out that more pins on a map might produce more leads.

We’re in the cleaning business.

So instead of spending our time figuring out how many addresses we can lease, how many Google profiles we can create or how many locations we can make appear on a map, we put that effort into the things our customers actually hire us to do.

That means doing great work, investing in professional equipment, training our technicians, communicating with customers and earning reviews from people throughout the communities we serve.

Our trucks can travel. Our technicians can travel. We don’t need an artificial office in every ZIP code to clean there.

Our Reviews Show Where We Actually Work

K&M Steam Cleaning serves customers across the Austin metro area. When someone hires us in Cedar Park, Leander, Round Rock, Georgetown, Pflugerville or another community we serve, we don’t need a pretend neighborhood office to make that customer local to us.

We go to their home and do the work.

And when customers are happy enough to leave a review, those reviews build the reputation of the same company — not a collection of profiles created to make one business look like nine different local operations.

That’s the kind of local presence we’re interested in building.

There’s a Better Way to Show Up in Local Search

Google visibility matters. We’re a business. Of course we want people searching for carpet cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, upholstery cleaning or other cleaning services to find us.

But our approach is pretty simple: give Google legitimate reasons to believe we’re a good cleaning company.

That means maintaining an accurate business profile, publishing useful information about the services we provide, creating relevant content about the communities we serve and, most importantly, doing enough good work that real customers recommend us.

If someone searches for a cleaning company in their community and finds K&M, we want it to be because we’ve actually cleaned homes there and built a reputation there — not because somebody rented us an address so we could stick another pin on Google Maps.

We’d Rather Invest in the Cleaning

Marketing tactics come and go. Search algorithms change. Platforms change their rules.

A clean carpet is still a clean carpet.

A restored tile floor is still a restored tile floor.

And a customer who is impressed enough with the work to call us again or recommend us to a neighbor is still one of the most valuable things a service business can earn.

So while other companies may invest in creating additional locations to increase their visibility, K&M Steam Cleaning would rather invest in being the cleaning company people are happy to find.

One company. One real office. A service area covering communities throughout the Austin area.

No collection of shell offices required.
