3. Clean the backing of the carpet.
4. Treat the slab or floor with a pet odor removal enzyme.
5. Seal the slab or floor with an odor barrier.
6. Treat the back of the carpet with an odor removal enzyme.
7. Install new carpet tack strips.
8. Install new carpet padding.
9. Reinstall and stretch the carpet.
10. Perform hot water extraction cleaning on the carpet.
11. Apply odor removal enzyme to the carpet after cleaning.
